Hi, I’m Isha Mundhra, the founder of MyDecorIdeas.com.
I’m 26 years old and currently living in Houston, Texas. My journey to blogging wasn’t exactly planned, it was born out of a mix of boredom, curiosity, and a little push from my brother.
After graduating, I started my career in the corporate world and landed a job at KPMG. At first, it felt exciting, the structure, the professionalism, the steady path. But after a while, the long hours and repetitive routines made me feel stuck in a monotonous loop. Every day started to look the same, and I couldn’t see myself spending years in a job that didn’t spark joy.
That’s when my brother casually suggested: “Why don’t you try blogging? Pinterest is a great place to start if you love exploring ideas.”
At first, I laughed it off, but the idea stayed with me. I’ve always been the one in my family and friend circle who loves rearranging spaces, hunting for decor inspiration, and making a place feel cozy and beautiful. So, I decided to give it a try.
And that’s how MyDecorIdeas was born.
